Carbon Offsetting

Offsetting our carbon dioxide emmissions by planting trees is a great way to help combat climate change and create more forests and green spaces. Whats more, it can be done affordably!

For less than the price of a coffee a month, each of us can offset our carbon emmissions for the year. Some offsetting companies charge upwards of £10 per tree but I charge £1.50 or less!

We cannot rely solely on governments to bring about the change we wish to see in the world. Most often it is the small things that we can all do that makes the biggest difference.

“The greatest threat to our planet is the belief that someone else will save it” – Robert Swan

The great thing is, 1 tree will sequester an average of 1 ton of carbon dioxide in the first 40 years of its life whilst also providing a home for nature and creating more rain through higher precipitation.

You can request a certificate at the end of each year to prove you have offset your carbon footprint.

Please use the ‘Pledge to Plant’ form on this page and if you have any questions please just ask me.

Once you have pledged to plant please share on facebook.
